Product Description

This project is an easy way for beginning quilters and sewers who want to learn simple piecing and beginning quilting. You can make and use this for a potholder, a hotpad or a small pressing surface for your sewing room. You will be amazed at what you can do in the few hours it takes to complete this product.  In this class you'll learn how to:

  • Cut fabric using rulers.
  • Sew 1/4-inch seams with a basic straight stitch.
  • Sew small pieces together into the potholder top.
  • Sandwich fabric and batting.
  • Quilt with simple machine quilting or ruler quilting.
  • Bind your quilted potholder.


Class Price includes:

Class will be held at The Makers Cottage at 1327 Byerland Church Road Willow Street PA 17584 on May 19th at 12:00 pm (Class price does not include the supplies) You will be contacted with a list of items to bring. 

Kit price includes: 

Kit includes complete pattern and instructions to make the Fox Potholder as well as fabrics (may vary from photo), batting, and stabilizer for applique.

Instruction Price includes: 

Instructions include a downloadable and printable class packet with pattern and supported by illustrations and pictures in PDF format.
